Before heading to church this morning, we made plans to meet Jo and John afterward for lunch and a trip to Barkley Farms Nursery near Paris. Of course, Jo and I requested a stop for iced tea before leaving Charleston and John and Alan obliged. Then they reminded us of the iced-tea-detour as they pulled into the John Deere lot in Ashmore. We were laughing hysterically about something or another before we were out of Coles County. We wound our way over the country roads to the nursery and brought home trees for our yard and perennials for Jo's garden. Barkley's is a beautiful place to spend a Sunday afternoon with your BFF's!
