QUILTS IN A DAY!

Combine 6 sewing machines, some old and some new with 7 girlies, some beginners and some seasoned, 4 ironing boards with matching irons, yards and yards of fabric and thread for miles and by the end of a Saturday you'll have QUILTS!  Five quilts!  Mom, Cindy, Kristin, Olivia, Alix, Claire and I spent last Saturday together in every corner of our house quilting...we began at 8:30 in the morning and the sewing machines were humming until 10:45 that night.  Five quilt tops were made and are now being quilted.  (I'll have photos of the finished quilts in a later post.)  Alix and Olivia and Claire made their first quilts!  Cindy and Kristin created another amazing quilt each.  Mom and I coached and offered shortcuts.  Colby was here for a visit, too.  We even took a "field trip" to the quilt shop in Paris with a side trip to Dairy Queen in the middle of the afternoon.   I LOVE THIS FAMILY!!!!
