• being stopped in Walmart for a very stylish young lady to compliment the dress that I found hidden in the back of the closet this morning.
• fitting into the old dress.
• time in the afternoon for a nap.
• hearing an excited, high-pitched "Hi Aunt Becky."
• a finished quilt project, packaged and ready for Althea.
• a good, long laugh on the phone with an old friend.
• vegetables, fresh from the garden.
• a jeep ride in the cool evening air.

• an ice cream cone filled all the way to the bottom with Prairie Farms chocolate ice cream.
• Zucchini bread with lots of pecans.
