San Diego

We've just returned from a week in San Diego visiting Nick and Kristin.  We ate REAL Mexican food and lots of it.   Will Los Potrillo's satisfy our urgings for Mexican ever again?   We strolled through the Zoo.  We climbed Sunset Cliffs.  We ate Italian in Little Italy.  We saw the coast and were mesmerized by it's constant splashing.  We played cards (The boys ALWAYS won, but we won't talk about that.) on the balcony.  We watched the Padres beat the Diamondbacks after Alan swapped baseball stories with 70's Padres pitcher Randy Jones.  We ate at Hash Hash A Go Go, twice!  We sailed through the harbor in mid-afternoon.  We tried on silly hats in Old Town.  We wound our way through the Gaslamp Quarter.  Nick made us nightcaps of perfect milk shakes.  We watched the sea lions sun themselves on the rocks of Point Loma.  We ate THE fish tacos that beat Bobby Flay in a ThrowDown at Mama Testa's and drank authentic Sangria.  We spent Saturday at "the track" in Del Mar.  We took lots and lots of photos.  Here's a peek into our photo album...
