On September 20, this year we were joined by our whole family and many friends for a glorious celebration as our Kristin married her sweetheart of 5 years, Nick Miller. The whole day was picture perfect...a day of hopes and dreams and memory-making. Kristin and Nick had planned every detail of their day and Mother Nature cooperated. The party began with everyone gathered for hors doeurves and cocktails before the ceremony on the lawn of the Mattoon Country Club. Tall white flags blew in the gentle breeze as Nick and Kristin said their vows to one another. Dinner and dancing began soon after and continued into the early hours of the next morning. It was a weekend of pride for these two parents. The flowers have long ago been wilted, the tuxes were returned, the dresses are back in the closets and the new Mr. and Mrs. Miller are settled into their home in Washington, Illinois. This Mom and Dad still smile when remembering that weekend and are certain we will always.
