My niece, Emma is 9 and is okay with posing for Aunt Becky and her camera in the fallen leaves. We raked them into a pile and she jumped right in.
Her little sister, Abby who will soon be 4 did not like the idea due to the possibility of spiders touching her. She did, however run from tree to tree to catch "lady bugs" and referred to them as "she" and "her."
The first listing in my gratitude journal that night was a couple of hours on a beautiful autumn day with two of my favorite girlies. "I love you so muuuuuch!"
